"As a child therapist, I find books like these so helpful in illustrating and discussing more abstract concepts such as feelings, self-regulation, and differences between people and families. Aunt Kiki's book does a marvelous job sharing an engaging story while also highlighting various themes of patience and imagination. I also love the reflective questions at the bottom of each page. A great story and wonderful teaching tool. I will gladly use this book in my work with children and families."

"Love love love the message of this book! Growing up my sister and I never came across anything like this... Maybe if we had it would've made life a lot easier. I read it to my 3 year old daughter and she was fascinated by the story and asked lots of questions. It's important to me that my two daughters know there are many paths they can walk in life along with many people they can choose to love. We are all about making sure our daughters know they don't have to be pretty princesses. But if they want to be, that's ok too! Would highly recommend adding this gorgeously illustrated book to your library!"
